Is building prototypes free?+
Yes. Building prototypes locally is free and unlimited. Plans only cover sharing them.
Why does sharing cost money?+
Honestly, we wish it could be free. Sharing hosts your prototype in the cloud so anyone can run it natively on their iPhone, and that hosting costs us money to run. It's the price to pay for shares that are completely native, and we think that's worth it.
How do people view my prototype?+
They open your share link with the free Prototo app on iPhone, and the prototype runs natively on their device. Not a video, not a clickable mockup.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?+
Yes. Change your plan anytime from your account. Annual works out cheaper than paying month to month.
Do share links expire?+
No. Share links are permanent. Once you publish, the link stays live and recipients can open it anytime with the free Prototo app. Re-publish to update it, or delete it whenever you want.
Do you offer team plans?+
Yes. Team is $16 per seat per month, or $160 per seat per year. One person starts the team from their account and invites designers by email. Everyone gets everything Plus unlocks, and the team's published prototypes show up in one shared library, on one invoice.
Is there a Prototo app?+
Yes. The Prototo app for iPhone is free on the App Store. Recipients use it to run shared prototypes natively on their device.
How do I cancel?+
Manage or cancel anytime from the billing portal in your account. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
