Terms of Service
Last updated: June 13, 2026
Acceptance
By using Prototo (the iOS app, the command-line tool, the prototo.app website, and the sharing and account features) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Prototo.
What Prototo is
Prototo lets designers build native iPhone prototypes with Claude Code and the iOS Simulator, and share them as a live link that runs in the recipient’s browser. Prototo is a tool for prototyping. It is not intended for production software, and prototypes you build are your responsibility.
Accounts
Sharing requires an account, which you create by signing in with Google or with an email link. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. An account is for one person. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding agreement in your location.
Your prototypes and share links
You own the prototypes you create. When you create a share link, you grant Prototo the limited permission needed to host, stream, and display that prototype to people who have the link, for as long as the link is active. You are responsible for what you share and for having the rights to share it. You can stop a share link at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not use Prototo to build or share anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful, and do not use it to abuse, attack, or disrupt the service or other people. Do not attempt to bypass account limits, rate limits, or usage caps. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Plans and limits
The free plan includes limits on the number of active shared projects, monthly live preview time, and how long a link stays live. These limits exist to keep the service sustainable and may change as Prototo evolves.
Availability and warranty
Prototo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prototo and its maker are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using Prototo at any time. We may suspend or end access for accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, and liability) continue to apply after access ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Prototo changes. When we do, we will update the date above. Continuing to use Prototo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
